Water Softening / conditioning system
chloramine reduction system
Treat your hard water!
The Purearth2o Water Softening/Conditioning System is designed specifically to reduce chloramines, chlorine and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and protect your plumbing system and appliances against scale deposits. The build-up of mineral deposits in your water heater, faucets, and shower valves is a costly problem, particularly in hard water areas where water contains large amounts of magnesium and calcium carbonate. Mineral deposits will start to form corrosion the minute your fixtures and appliances are installed.
There's an answer!
The Purearth2o Water Softening/Conditioning System provides the solution to residential hard water problems and has proven effective in removing mineral build-up on faucets, shower valves, and appliances. After it’s installed, it goes to work on your existing scale as well, and with proper care, can keep all your plumbing, faucets, and appliances looking like new, and your countertops and shower doors spot-free – all with low maintenance!
Water feels softer and smoother on hair and skin
Prevents spotting on your faucets, shower glass doors, countertops, glassware, and dishes
Protects your faucets and shower valves from scale build-up
Protects your appliances, potentially extending their lifetime.
How it works
Water flowers through the KDF media and catalytic carbon, reducing chloramines, pesticides, and herbicides. Then it flows through the ion exchange media, removing calcium and magnesium from your water.
KDF Media is designed to specifically reduce chlorine and hydrogen sulfide. It also controls scale build-up, bacteria, algae, and heavy metals in water while improving the life of other medias.
Certifications: NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and 61
100% Catalytic Activated Carbon
The chemicals reduced by catalytic activated carbon are chloramines, chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). VOCs include pesticides, herbicides, and most solvents, tastes, and odors.
Certifications: NSF/ANSI Standard 61
Media removes hardness caused by calcium carbonate and magnesium.
Gives greater flow-rate throughout the entire filter system.
